Harvested from the tie kuan yin cultivar, long, dark, twisted leaves steep a sweet caramel-like aroma with a hint of candied nuts, a medium-roasted flavor, and a sweet finish. The bright golden orange hue of the liquor hints at a clean yet robust flavor—an excellent initiation into oolongs embodying the essence of its mountainous home.
Fujian oolong tea
Brew 1 teaspoon of tea per 8 oz water at 195o. Infuse for 3 minutes. For additional infusions, add fresh hot water and slightly increase steeping time.
