The subtropical climate of Kagoshima prefecture on Japan's southern island Kyushu produces a wonderfully lush growth of Sencha. This one, from the Asanoka cultivar, is known for its delicate, fruity aroma and umami flavor.

Brewing Instructions
Brew 1 teaspoon of tea per 8 oz water at 185o. Infuse 2-3 minutes. Decant. Green tea left in water too long will become bitter.
